Obituary for Jerry L. Williams 

In Loving Memory 

Jerry L. Williams, 53, of Rockford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 11, 2026. Born on May 18, 1973, in Rockford, Illinois, Jerry was the beloved son of Gerald L. Williams and Renee Bourbon. His life was marked by deep faith, a generous spirit, and a heart that welcomed everyone he met. 

Jerry loved worshiping the Lord and found his greatest joy in leading others to Christ. His favorite scripture, John 3:16, guided his walk of faith, while the Book of Psalms brought him comfort and strength throughout his life. He cherished time spent with friends and family—both lifelong friends and new connections he made along the way. 

Jerry had a special love for animals, especially his loyal dog, Blaze, who was his constant companion. He also enjoyed collecting Siberian White Tiger memorabilia, a passion that reflected his admiration for their beauty and strength. 

Jerry is survived by his loving Aunt, Uncles, and a host of cousins who will forever hold his memory close. He was preceded in death by his mother, Renee; father, Gerald; sister, Tammy; uncle, Paul; cousin, Tim; and grandparents Eugene and Maria (Marie) Bourbon. 

His family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of Jerry’s life.
