Roger Rosson

Roger Dale Rosson 62,of Sycamore IL. Passed away peacefully on May 5th 2026. He passed away comfortably and free from pain and struggle. Roger was born April 26th 1964 to Annie Mae Hearn. During his childhood Roger developed a close relationship with his stepfather Hawkeye.

Roger move to Chicago as a young Boy and spent many summers visiting family in Tennessee. He put many miles on his bicycle exploring Chicago and making friends in neighborhoods across the city. In adulthood Roger was a laborer and contributed to many construction projects across Northern IL. He spent alot of time working on racecars and watching his family and friends race at Sycamore speedway.
Anyone that knew him knew he lived a 100 lives in one. He had a gift for making people laugh and keeping people around him on their toes with his humor. He loved his children fiercely and never let them forget it. Roger had simple joyful loves watching Cops and NASCAR baking in the sun, making biscuits and gravy and making very sweet sun tea.

Roger is survived by his loving wife Tracey. His sons Chaz Rosson and Carl Rosson and Graceanne Rosson. His father in law Bernard Simpson. Brother in laws David (Jill ) Simpson Daniel Simpson and sister in law Jodi Simpson and his fur baby Rudy and 11 nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother Annie Mae Hearn and his stepfather Hawkeye and his 5 siblings. Michael, Anita, Linda, Gary and Gerry.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
