Sandra Jocson

Sandra Ann Jocson, 83, of Loves Park passed away Thursday, February 5, 2026 in her home. Born May 2, 1942, in Rockford; the daughter of Harry C. and Ruth M. (Young) Bock. She was a 1960 graduate of West High School. Married Edward G. Jocson in 1978. Sandra worked at Rockford Memorial Clinic for many years as a medical assistant where she made many lifelong friends. She loved hunting for treasures at Antique stores, flea markets and estate sales. Sandra loved going to zoo’s, ball games, butterfly exhibits, cookouts. She was known for being an animal lover. Her cats and dogs were spoiled rotten. They were all family and she owned them throughout her life. Most of all Sandra truly cherished spending time with her family and friends and wouldn’t miss a gathering.

She is survived by her sons, Troy (Kathy) and Kip; grandchildren, Marty, Megan, Ray and Cassandra; great-grandchildren, Zoey, Zuma and Mikelyn; twin sister, Patricia and brother Dan; Lots of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father, Harry C. Bock; mothers, Ruth M. Bock and Gladys Bock; and husband, Edward G. Jocson.

Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2026 be at Bethany Presbyterian Church, 5403 N. 2nd Street, Loves Park, IL, 61111.Private burial will be at Silver Creek Cemetery in Mt. Morris, Illinois at a later time. Memorials may be made to the family.
