Brenda Hunter

Brenda Jo Hunter, 70, of Belvidere passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Symphony Northwoods, in Belvidere, IL. Born August 11, 1955, in Richmond, IN; the daughter of Tracy Paul Hunter and Joan Lee Hunter Furman.

Brenda loved doing puzzles in her spare time, playing bingo and slots, watching her favorite shows on TV and loved going to concerts. She also had a cat named Ace she loved very much.

Brenda is survived by her daughters, Celeste Hunter and Tanya Hunt; grandson, Cameron Hunter; granddaughters, Kimberlynn Grant, Jocelynn Grant, Talea Smith; and many great-grandchildren; her brother, Mark Hunter; many nephews and extended family. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Helen Joyce Oakes, Debra June McCoy, and Paula Jean Amyx; brother, Richard Paul Hunter; granddaughter, Courtney Hunter.
